Management Concept Sustainability is Valorem's management concept, which is based on the trinomial, social / environmental / economical. This enables the company to manage its production areas, as well as forests in environmental conservation areas and its social resposibility. Overall, it has more than 10,000 ha of commercial forests of its own, which are distributed into different ages and species, mostly Pinus species and some areas with Eucalyptus spp. . Business Operating Areas Valorem operates in the states of Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo, Minas Gerais and Bahia, with its headquarters based in Curitiba-PR, where the Board of Directors, the Forestry Management, and the Export Center are located, the Industrial Park and Transportation Services are located in Itararé-SP. Environmental Responsibility Along with society's pursuit for environmental sustainability, Valorem preserves more than 7,000 ha of natural forests, which are distributed in the biomes of Araucária Forests, Atlantic Forests, and the Cerrado (woodland-savanna).
